April Sephora @ Play Review!

It’s time to review my April Sephora @ Play box!! This months box consisted of some really good products some of which are completely worth buying the full size versions. Other products in the box are mediocre. Keep reading to find out!!

Purity Made Simple ◊ Pore Extractor Mask

Product Claims: Removes Blackheads, Exfoliate Skin

My Review: This mask does live up to it’s claims. My skin was smoother and I did notice my pores appeared more clear.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥

Sephora Collection ◊ Rouge Cream LipstickThe Red

Product Claims: Delivers creamy fire engine red pigment. Moisturizing with a satin texture finish.

My Review: Although this product does live up to all of the claims, it has no stand out power. I have tried so many that do the same thing it claims and more. It is not bad, but nothing special.

Heart Status: ♥♥

Peter Thomas Roth ◊ Skin To Die For & Mattifying Primer & Complexion Perfector

Product Claims: Light Weight primer that blurs imperfections and reduces the look of pores.

My Review: I. AM. IN. LOVE. This might be the best foundation primer I have ever used on my skin. My pores have never looked more smooth under my foundation.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥♥♥

Urban Decay ◊ Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss ◊  Color SLP

Product Claims: Iridescent lip gloss that plumps and moisturizes

My Review: This lip gloss is special. It lives up to the claims. The subtle pink is perfect alone or as a lip topper. The tingling from the plumping ingredients is not too over powering.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥

Living Proof ◊ Perfect Hair Day ◊ Shampoo & Conditioner

Product Claims: Gentle, weightless shampoo and conditioner due that adds shine and volume while keeping your style fresh longer.

My Review: I thoroughly enjoyed using this shampoo and conditioner combo. It cleans without over drying my hair and helps with my frizz.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥

Drunk Elephant ◊ T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial

Product Claims: At home facial that sweeps away dead skin cells.

My Review: This product is legit. When I first applied the serum my skin started to burn so I was HIGHLY concerned. After about 15 seconds the burning went away. The instructions say to keep on for 20 minutes. It is a very intense 20 minutes, but when I remove the serum the results are instant. My skin was visibly brighter and smoother to the touch.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥♥

The stand out products for this month were definitely the Peter Thomas Roth primer and the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial. If I was recommending which products to purchase these would be the must-haves. Matter of fact I will be purchasing both!!

Scale: ♥♥♥♥♥= I CANNOT wait to purchase!                                                                            ♥♥♥♥=Would potentially add to my collection                                                                                ♥♥♥=Might purchase if it was on sale                                                                                                  ♥♥=Nothing special or stand out power                                                                                                    ♥= I will be saving my money

Hi! I'm a late-twenty something girl on this huge journey called life. I'm learning to live a confident life and be comfortable in my own skin. Hopeful romantic at heart. Jane Austen raised my standards a long time ago. Pink Peonies make me smile, I love a good song to sing and dance to..Everyday is a good day, to have a good day is my life's motto. My goal is to leave everyone and everywhere better than I found it.
