May Sephora @ Play Review!

Its review time for my May Sephora @ Play Box! This months box was basically all hits! I have a weird obsession with small sample products. They’re great for travel and perfect for trying for be you buy!! Sephora @ Play is definitely one of my favorite subscription boxes!

Becca ◊ Pressed Highlighter Champagne Pop

Product Claims: Creamy, pressed powder highlighter in a pearlescent gold shade with peach undertones.

My Review: This highlighter is MAGIC! It can be a blinding highlight or give a natural glow. The smooth texture glides on your skin and is perfect for highlighting the cheek bones, nose and cupids bow.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥♥

Benefit Cosmetics ◊ POREfessional Face Primer

Product Claims: Oil free priming balm that minimizes the look of pores and controls shine all day.

My Review: This is a product I already know I love. It has been a staple in my makeup bag for a long time now. I have large pores on my cheeks and nose. The Porefessional Primer delivers a seamless and smooth finish.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥♥♥

Bumble and Bumble ◊ Thickening Volume Hairspray

Products Claims: Setting spray that extends your style, lifts at the roots and adds major volume.

My Review: This spray definitely lives up to the hype. It adds great volume without being stiff or sticky. Really enjoyed using it.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥

Kat Von D ◊ Tattoo Liner in Trooper

Product Claims: Waterproof liquid liner with a superfine brush tip that goes on smooth.

My Review: This liner is no joke. The smooth application makes even the trickiest wing look flawless. It stays put throughout the day and doesn’t run into the night. I have to use a facial oil to help remove the liner. It is that budge proof.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥♥

Sephora Collection ◊ Mud Mask Purifying and Mattifying

Product Claims: Detoxifying mud mask that clarifies skin with zinc and copper.

My Review: This mask was really disappointing for me. I had really high hopes that it would make a difference in my skin because of the zinc and copper properties. I was very unimpressed with the outcome. The one positive is I liked it changed colors when it was ready to be washed off.

Victor & Rolf ◊ Flowerbomb

Product Claims:  This warm and spice fragrance is like a bouquet of sweet flowers mixed with a deep woody notes.

My Review: I LOVE!!! This fragrance is gorgeous. It makes me feel gorgeous. I love any fragrance that makes me feel like I am beautiful. The scent might not be for everyone, but it is definitely going into my normal fragrance rotation.

Heart Status: ♥♥♥♥♥

This month had some really amazing highs!!! Other than the disappointing face mask I would definitely add these items into my collection. I hope this helps you when you are shopping for new additions to your collection!!

Hi! I'm a late-twenty something girl on this huge journey called life. I'm learning to live a confident life and be comfortable in my own skin. Hopeful romantic at heart. Jane Austen raised my standards a long time ago. Pink Peonies make me smile, I love a good song to sing and dance to..Everyday is a good day, to have a good day is my life's motto. My goal is to leave everyone and everywhere better than I found it.
